By far worst salon experience ever. Took my girl there to get her hair done and she left upset and disgusted by her hair. The lady that did her hair completely ruined it. She didn't do what was asked. See picture below. We were told we would have to pay for it again if we wanted it fixed, after only originally comping 75 off of the hair cut and color at first we finally convinced them to completely wipe the cost of the first haircut only for her to tell us we would have to pay full price for it to be done again to fix it. Upon going back in there, (dumb idea, but it needed to be fixed), she went back in only for them to ruin her hair some more and not even fix the issue. We ended up having to go to a different Salon and pay close to 300 to have her hair fixed because it was so messed up. And she now needs the special treatment shampoo for her hair. Needless to say she won't be going there anymore and I will go out of my way to make sure people know about this issue. While it may not be every stylist that works there, the owner wasn't very willing to work with us to get her hair back to normal nor did she seem concerned at all because it would cost her money out of pocket to pay the stylist to fix it. Part of owning or managing a business is taking responsibility for the actions of the people you have working for you.
I love this place and everyone there. The entire staff has great experience and talent in their field. The salon is always clean and well-maintained. There is a smiling face waiting for each client as you walk through the door. Take it from someone that has been going here since the beginning, if you want an exceptional beauty experience, choose Salon West and Spa!
This newly opened salon is beautiful and filled with lots of pretty, smiling, happy faces. Just a wonderful place to be and definitely a happy place! The owner has done my hair for years and I have nothing but nice things to say about her! The massage therapist does a fantastic green tea foot scrub! The facialist has helped me with my headaches! And the manicurist does a wonderful champagne pedicure! I love this salon!
