I hated my whole experience. My ultrasound pictures look like blobs so I went and paid some body else for a 3D. The Mebane office got shut down so they overbook, you will wait forever for a 5 min appointment. You don't see the same doctor more than once so its like seeing a stranger each time. I went to UNC to deliver because I didn't like my prenatal experience so I didnt want a bad delivery experience also. They wouldnt even see me for my follow up to give me a note to return to work because I was 11 minutes late when they have a 15 minute grace period.
This place has really gone downhill over the years. Every time I have come there is always new employees they can’t seem to keep the same staff for any length of time and i wonder why. This includes providers, front desk and nursing staff. Seems like all the good ones are gone and all the ones who have always given poor service or poor attitudes are still there. The ultrasound staff here will make your experience terrible it would be nice to be welcomed by a smiling face who appears to enjoy babies and share in your job of pregnancy, but not here. I strongly recommend any other obgyn besides this place. Even with merging it still seems to be a joke of a practice. Sandy is extremely rude and acts as if patients are a big inconvenience in her day. The office manager sucks at her job and will never return your call or do anything to fix the problems at the practice. Good luck when requesting medical records this place acts as if they don’t want to give them out maybe because their records aren’t being kept correctly? This place is just extremely unprofessional and I have experienced several hippa violations upon a visit here I am not sure how they are still open. Trust me when i say you’ll be pleased with anywhere but here. When I think of west side now it’s not much better than the health dept.
My wife was sent home with a prescription for cytotec to assist with her miscarriage. There was never a follow up call or appointment scheduled. After 2 weeks we tried to call the clinic during business hours and was directed to leave a message for the nurse and 24 hours someone would call us. A day later and no call and now we are sitting in the ER with complications that never was addressed because their staff didn't reach out to do follow-up care. Horrible experience and recommend that no one go to this clinic if other options are available!
Dr. Jackson was great. Great bedside manner. He knew what he was doing. Although the front desk could be more friendly, which I was assured will be improving soon, I certainly couldn't say more about Dr. J!
The doctors and nurses are professional but having several prenatal visits there I didn't feel like I was getting any info on my pregnancy, I didn't feel like my questions were answered and I always had the feeling that everyone was too busy to help me. When i started thinking that one of these doctors would be delivering my baby I got very uncomfortable and am in the process of transferring my care, which is a process in itself the way their system is set up. Long hold times on the phone only add to the frustration. This is my second child and I know felt much better after doctor visits with my first at another location. I knew that no matter who was on call when I went into labor I would be in good hands and I can't say that with Westside
On a side note our dog was seen at the Vet on the same day with just one phone call...how sad that my wife can't get the same level of service.
