So thankful for the kind staff at Dick Shirley this morning. Dustin and Scott were wonderful to work with, made sure I was fully informed on what was going on with my car, took care of the issue quickly, and had me back on the road in no time. Thank you guys so much! It’s a wonderful feeling to have a trustworthy company to go to when your car is acting crazy. I appreciate you guys so much!

I took my car in for a rattling noise in the front end. They drove my car around the parking lot and told me I needed a passenger side sway-bar link. I was told it would be ready the next day as they had to order the part. I get a phone call the next day telling me that while they were trying to get the sway-bar link off they broke both control arms. How did both control arms (driver and passenger side) break when they were just replacing the passenger side sway-bar link? I wait all day and finally call them at 5:30pm and am told that the service department is closed. I told the guy that answered that nobody called me to tell me that my car wouldn't be ready. The guy I was talking to goes into the service area to see where my car is and comes back to tell me they have it up on the lift so I can't even go and pick it up. The third day after them having my car they finally call and tell me it's ready. After paying a $1300 bill (that was originally supposed to be $300) I drive my car home just to realize I still have the exact same rattle that I was first complaining about. I know if I take my car back and tell them that it is still rattling it will just end up costing me more money, so I will just deal with the rattle.

My experience with Dick Shirley is normally pleasant. This time I dropped my 2016 Chevy Malibu LT off because of the check engine light was on. My vehicle has 23k miles on it, so that is alarming. Well, I get there Tuesday 12/12 morning for my 7:30 am appointment. I believe the service guy name was Brad who was assigned to handle my servicing. He arranges a ride for me to be taken home. Shortly after being home, he calls me to let me know that he was sending someone to pick me up again and put me in a loaner because they will have my vehicle for an extended period of time. While on the phone with Brad I requested to be put in a pickup truck. He laughed and asked "why do you want a truck, you're in a Malibu". I told him that is what I wanted. Why does it matter that I want to be put in a pickup truck? I purchased 2 brand new vehicles, one being a 2016 Malibu and the other a 2016 Equinox in the same day. I believe I should get whatever loaner I want. While my car was there, I never heard from him about what they found was the cause and what was being done to fix it. I called that Friday 12/15 to find out anything. Brads answer to my question was "they are still working on it". Well obviously they are still working on it, because I am still in a loaner. He then told me they were replacing the pistons. Every interaction with him seemed as if he was irritated and very unprofessional. This was my first time dealing with him and definitely will be my last. I finally was given a call by Brad on 12/20 that my vehicle was ready.

Far away from home had a coolant hose burst on my Volt. It was an extremely busy day for the dealership, but they quickly diagnosed the issue and tracked down the part for us and got us in and out as soon as possible. Thank you to JSK for all of your hard work and exceptional service. You seriously cannot find this type of excellence easily anymore!
